Bile Duct Cancer What is bile duct cancer? Bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma) and gallbladder cancer are Biliary Tract Cancers (BTC): Most people do not find out they have bile duct cancer until it has spread within their bile ducts or gallblader. When bile duct cancer spreads within the bile ducts and gallbladder, you may notice specific signs and symptoms. • Yellowing of the skin or eyes. • Dark urine or pale depositions. • Abdominal pain • Weight loss While these are not all the signs and symptoms of bile duct cancer, they are the most common.
